ABOUT MATT MARTIN
I have a need to create useful things that incorporate design, aesthetics and functionality. These natural inclinations combined with a love
of both music and woodworking that started young made guitar building a natural fit. I enjoy the entire process of guitar building, from design and hand carving the neck and bridge, to finishing each unique instrument and stringing it up for the first time.
I live in Traverse City, Michigan with my wife, and 3 kids ages 10, 9 and 5. Besides creating useful things in the workshop, I enjoy anything outdoors, including camping with my family, or solo river trips in my hand-made cedar strip canoe.
